Partnering with Deloitte Access Economics to Undertake Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Commissioned Review of it Enrichment Portfolio

PLC has been contracted to partner with Deloitte Access Economics to undertake a review of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese’s Enrichment Portfolio covering areas including sports and arts provisions

Design of Social Cohesion Hub (launched by Australia's Education Minister on 30 June)

PLC was contracted by Education Services Australia (ESA) to design a Social Cohesion Hub of resources for schools, teachers, students and parents that addresses issues including Antisemitism, hate towards different faith and cultures, discrimination, intercultural understanding, shared values and strategies for building social cohesion in schools and the community. Dr Lambert was also appointed by ESA to chair the project's expert group. Here is a link to the Hub: www.socialcohesionhub.edu.au.

Department of Education, Children and Young People, Tasmania

Contracted to undertake a review of moderation practices across Australia. This project involves a literature review of contemporary models and approaches to moderation, analysis of moderation models and approaches used in each Australian jurisdiction and the development of findings and recommendations leading to an options paper for a future state for moderation in Tasmania.

National Check-In Week Ambassador

As an Ambassador and panel member for Check-in Week (in May) Dr Lambert spoke about change in schools in response to students’ needs requires more than data awareness, about the kind of leadership that is transformational and about student engagement – not the overt and obvious but what is for too many young people below the surface. Dr Lambert also contributed as one of the experts involved in the culminating roundtable hosted at the Amazon offices

Supporting the Saudi National Curriculum Center

Providing guidance and support through expert reports, presentations and meetings with the curriculum team from the Saudi National Curriculum Center (NCC), NCC executive, the Minister of Education and the Australian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Contracted by Education Services Australia for 2026

PLC has been contracted for 2026 by Australia’s national teacher resource agency, Education Services Australia to provide expert advice on its resource bank and quality assurance processes and criteria. 

National Summit of Pakistan

In February PLC was honoured to be engaged through Pakistan’s Ministry of Education for Dr Lambert to present a keynote address at its National Summit being held in Islamabad on the National Curriculum of Pakistan.

Contributing to two G20 Education Dialogue Publications

Dr Lambert was engaged by the organisers of the G20 Education Dialogue to review and develop articles for two publications - the proceedings from the 2024 G20 Education Dialogue in Beijing at which Dr Lambert presented ('Education, technology and Quality Growth in the Digital Era'), and the following article on the impact of AI on Education featured in the peer-reviewed journal Open Praxis - 'Rethinking Education Innovation for Sustainable Development in the AI Era: A G20 Policy OrientedPerspective' : https://doi.org/10.55982/openpraxis.18.2.1192

Expert independent witness

Dr Lambert through Phil Lambert Consulting is an expert witness to the courts for cases where plaintiffs have made claims against schools and/or school leaders. He is currently engaged by legal firms representing their clients (which in some cases is the plaintiff and in others the school or schooling authority) to provide independent expertise in such matters.
